The “Putts Fur Mutts” Golf Outing and Putt Putt Event will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at Bedford Hills Golf Club. Members of the top three golf teams will be awarded prizes along with contest winners. The event will also include a silent auction and lunch from Outback Steakhouse Toledo.
All proceeds benefit the non-profit Puppy Rescue Mission, which handles the requests, logistics, transport and cost – like veterinary care, travel, crates and other supplies – for stray dogs and cats of war, bonded with and adopted by US soldiers. The Puppy Rescue Mission has also established Neda’s Fund to help in the event a soldier needs financial assistance with surgery or emergency veterinary care at any point during the animal’s life, and the organization handles rehoming if the soldier cannot keep the animal. Proceeds from the “Putts Fur Mutts” event will help US soldiers bring their adopted battle buddies home and will support Neda’s Fund.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. $80/individual if paid by September 1st, $90/individual thereafter. Price includes 18 holes of golf with cart, prizes for the top three teams and contest winners, golfer goodie bag, breakfast, lunch donated by Outback Steakhouse Toledo, and entry into the contests. Individuals and teams welcome. Players will play from men’s, women’s and senior (70+) tees.
Not a golfer? Try 18 or 36 holes of Putt Putt starting at 10 a.m., then join golfers for the Outback Steakhouse lunch! $25 individual and children are welcome!
